The name comes from the Wapentake Bar that used to be in the basement of Sheffield’s Grosvenor Hotel on Wellington St. Shut about 25 years ago, it is still fondly remembered by the rock community. We aren’t trying to copy it we just want to keep its spirit alive by playing great rock music.
