A plaque has been unveiled in Sheffield Peace Gardens to mark the founding of the National Market Traders Federation, founded in 1899 at the Wentworth Cafe on Pinstone Street. The NMTF is now headquartered in Barnsley and has over 20,000 members who trade at markets, fairs and festivals across the country.
