More than a third of people are unaware of the dangers of diabetes related foot ulcers which untreated can lead to foot amputations, a new survey from Diabetes UK has revealed. Diabetic foot ulcer is a major complication of diabetes with 80 per cent of diabetes related amputations arising from unhealed ulcers.
