Sheffield asylum seeker fears deportation

An asylum seeker who has lived in Sheffield for more than 16 years told Sheffield Live! she is now afraid to report for an immigration interview. Marian Max, who is originally from Zimbabwe, spoke of her fears of arrest and deportation after three of her compatriots were detained by the UK border agency in cooperation with Zimbabwean government officials.
