Request for proposals
Sheffield Local Television Ltd is seeking to procure an in-house playout and scheduling system as part of the EU funded Digital Media Exchange project. The local television channel for Sheffield launched in September 2014. As part of the next phase of development of the channel as a platform for independent producers and local talent we now wish to install an in house playout and scheduling system capable of providing rapid and robust file handling to broadcast standard for pre-recorded programmes and live assisted production.
We are seeking proposals to include all hardware, software, installation, delivery and training.
Selection of the system will be based on the most economically advantageous proposal with a 50% weighting for functionality and a 50% weighting for price. The total budget available for this procurement will not exceed £15,000 (not including VAT).
Proposals and requests for further information should be sent to greg@sheffieldlive.org
The deadline for receipt of proposals is 5pm on 13 May 2015.
The Digital Media Exchange is supported financially by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund as part of Europe’s support for the region’s economic development through the 2007-2013 Yorkshire and Humber ERDF Programme.
