Refuse collectors in Sheffield have started collecting the new brown recycling bins for glass, cans, tins and plastic bottles. The new brown bins will be collected once every four weeks. A Sheffield councillor of Jewish background has spoken out against allegations that the Labour party is anti-semitic. In an interview with Sheffield Live! Sheffield is set to receive over £400,000 to help tackle homelessness in the city. The government cash is aimed at bringing an end to people sleeping rough on the streets by the year 2027. 52 year old Nigel Jones, has been homeless for over two years.
