Hosted by Access Space, the 20×20 exhibition is into its twelfth year providing a platform to showcase work from beginners to established artists, the only requirement being that each piece must fit a 20 by 20 inch square. An exhibition from the Black women’s arts collective, Black Blossoms has been on display at the Workstation. The display includes a series of images of Black women and has been accompanied by a painter at work, Sola Olulode. Azz Mohammed reports for Sheffield Live!
A touring exhibition of dolls’ houses from the V&A Museum of Childhood is on display at Weston Park Museum. Visitors can journey through the history of the home with 12 intricately crafted dolls’ houses spanning over 300 years. Marriages, parties, politics and crime play out in country mansions, suburban villas, newly-built council estates and high-rise apartments, as each house is brought to life by the characters that live and work there.
