Sheffield Live! TV has moved from Channel 8 to Channel 7 on Freeview to take up the slot recently vacated by BBC 3. With BBC 3 moving to online only, Sheffield Live!, together with most other local TV channels in England, has been offered the improved Electronic Programme Guide listing. Many Sheffield Live! TV viewers will find their equipment picks up the change automatically. Where this does not happen Freeview recommend to retune TV receivers to update the on-screen programme guide. Viewers may also need to update their favourites list. Viewers who don’t retune will not lose their local TV channel. Sheffield Live! TV will remain accessible at the old channel number until the receiver equipment is retuned.
