Hundreds attended the funeral of boxing legend Brendan Ingle at Sheffield Cathedral. Ingle Brendan died in May, aged 77 at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, from a brain hemorrhage. Twenty-one year old Sheffield boxer Loua Nassa beat Sergey Tasimov of Estona to win the International Challenge belt at Pond’s Forge. Kell Brook is set to defend his IBF Welterweight world title against undefeated American boxer Errol Spence, with the fight set to take place in Sheffield at Bramall Lane on 27 May. Brook’s last fight was against middleweight Gennady Golovkin where he lost in the fifth round after moving up two divisions.
