Sheffield Wednesday have signed Sunderland midfielder on a season long loan. The 26-year-old, English midfielder, spent the second half of last season on loan at Birmingham and is eligible to feature on Sunday as Wednesday host former Premier League side Aston Villa in their Championship opener.
