Sheffield Council has officially opened a breastfeeding room at the Town Hall to encourage mums and future mums to breast feed their children. The dedicated room, just off the reception area of the Town Hall, will be available for use by any breastfeeding mum. The room has been equipped with a comfortable breastfeeding chair, baby changing station, a water cooler and a fan. Baillor Jalloh reports for Sheffield Live!
Trades unionists gathered outside Sheffield Town Hall on Monday demanding a better pay for public sector workers and an end to zero hours contract as part of the TUC’s HeartUnions Week. The demonstration was organised by Sheffield Trades Union Council. It comes ahead of two days of industrial action planned for next week by the University and College Union who are seeking protection of their pension scheme. Baillor Jalloh reports for Sheffield Live!
