Young artist wins Orchard Square competition

Recent Sheffield Hallam University illustration graduate Will Rea has been commissioned to create a public art installation for Orchard Square. The award follows a design competition for young artists run in collaboration with Museums Sheffield. Azz Mohammed reports for Sheffield Live!

First elephant unveiled for Herd of Sheffield

The first elephant which will form a public art trail across the city was launched in the Winter Gardens last night. ‘The Herd of Sheffield 2016’ will include over forty individually designed elephant sculptures. The elephants will be in the city between July and September next year, then they’ll be auctioned to the public. The money will go towards The Children’s Hospital charity. Local illustrator, Geo Law has created the first one.
