Terms & Conditions

Competition Terms and Conditions (”Rules”)

Please read these rules carefully.

Competition” means any promotion, prize draw or competition operated by Sheffield Live! (whether on its own behalf or on behalf of its sponsors).

By entering the Competition, whether by email, online entry, post, telephone or text message, Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Rules and agree to be bound by them.

These Rules are in addition to any Rules, instructions and other specific details relating to the particular Competition broadcast on air or published on our website or any other website or in any media which features the Competition.

The Promoter is Sheffield Live!. Sheffield Live may refer to either or both Sheffield Live 93.2FM, a community radio service operated by Commedia Sheffield, The Workstation, 15 Paternoster Row, Sheffield S1 2BX, and/or to Sheffield Live TV, a local television service operated by SLTV Ltd, The Workstation, 15 Paternoster Row, Sheffield S1 2BX.

Sheffield Live reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time. Sheffield Live may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (”Rules”) also apply to any subsequent revision, whether notified or not.
Eligibility. Unless otherwise stated in these Rules, on air, or in any additional Rules published on this website in respect of any specific Competition, entry is open to UK residents of 18 years or older on the date of entry, except employees or volunteers of Sheffield Live 93.2FM or employees of any other company involved directly with the administration of the Competition, any member of their households or any person otherwise connected to the Competition. If entry to a Competition is open to Entrants under 18 years of age, Entrants will need the permission of a parent or guardian to enter.

Candidates in any general, local or any other election will be ineligible, during the period of such election, to enter any Competition until after the conclusion of such election.

Only one entry is permitted per person for each Competition. Multiple entries (including Entrants using more than one method of entry) will be disqualified.

The Prize is as stated on air and on the Competition entry page on Sheffield Live’s website and (unless otherwise stated) there is only one Prize per Competition.

Prizes offered by Sheffield Live are in most cases provided by a sponsor or third party (the “Sponsor”) and the responsibility for delivery of any Prize(s) shall be that of the relevant Sponsor. Sheffield Live shall have no responsibility or liability in respect of any late delivery, or failure to deliver, all or any part of the relevant Prize(s) by any Sponsor. Sheffield Live shall have no obligation to provide any substitute Prize(s) or any cash alternative in the event of any late delivery, or failure to deliver, of any Prize(s) by any Sponsor.

In the case of any Prizes being provided by Sheffield Live, Sheffield Live shall endeavour to send out all Prizes within 28 days of the win, but this may change at our discretion.

There is no cash alternative to the advertised Prize(s) and any Prize is strictly non-transferable.

Ticket Prizes may not be re-sold, do not include travel or accommodation costs, and Prize winners are responsible for ensuring they meet any admission requirements for the event.

Prizes must be claimed within 3 months from date of winning.

Entrants may enter a Competition through the Sheffield Live website on the specific page for the Competition they wish to enter; or by email to a specified email address (which will vary for different Competitions provided by different shows) provided on air and on the Competition web page; or by post to Competitions, Sheffield Live, The Workstation, 15 Paternoster Row, Sheffield S1 2BX.

Entries through agents or third parties will be invalid. Multiple entries by one person and incomplete entries will be disqualified.
