Theatre Deli re-opens in new venue

Theatre Delicatessen have found a new home off Eyre Street after their arts and performance venue on The Moor closed down three months ago. The theatre company have relocated to a former Mothercare store which is larger and better lit and features a retractable stage. Azz Mohammed reports for Sheffield Live!

Theatre Delicatessen invites public to talk about sex

The ‘Let’s Talk about Sex’ festival features musical, film screenings, discussions and cabaret, with the public invited to join the conversation. Theatre Delicatessen promises a fun and safe environment in which embarrassment can be put to one side and everyone will be talking about sex. Highlights include ‘Buzz the Musical’, a history of the vibrator, and a new version of The Vagina Monologues, presented by Shefest. Simon Thake reports for Sheffield Live!

Theatre Deli hosts “The Church of Jim”

Theatre Delicatessen is hosting the Sheffield based play “The Church of Jim”, which explores politics, religion and community spirit. The Church of Jim is the story of a community formed to bring hope into a seemingly hopeless situation. Sheffield Live! reporter Shamaan Freeman-Powell spoke to author of the play, Andrew Cook.
