Lord Mayor launches Poppy Appeal

Sheffield campaigners protest Gaza killings

Sheffield remembers victims of Hiroshima

A short remembrance ceremony has been held at the Peace Gardens to remember the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It is 73 years since the United States dropped atomic bombs on the two Japanese cities resulting in the killing of more than 100,000 people and many more injured.
