Ceramic festival returns to Kelham Island

The annual Sheffield Ceramic Festival returned to the city at the weekend with more than 50 ceramic artists, potters and sculptors exhibiting their work at Kelham Island Museum. The festival is into its eighth year and most of the profits are set to be donated to charities including De Paul, an organisation which works with homeless young people. The two day festival attracted hundreds of people from across the city. Baillor Jalloh reports for Sheffield Live!

Kelham Island v. Shalesmoor tram stop name battle

A Kelham Island business director has put forward proposals to Stagecoach Supertram to rename the Shalesmoor tram stop to raise the profile of Kelham Island. Adam Murray, director of Coda Planning is proposing the name change to further support the development of Kelham Island as an up and coming Sheffield destination. Xmas celebration Victorian style

Sheffield Industrial Museum held its 22nd annual Victorian Xmas market at Kelham Island. The Town Crier, Morris Men and a Punch and Judy show entertained those attending,  alongside characters from the Victorian era who, added to the atmosphere.
