The Netherlands National Circus has arrived in Sheffield as part of a UK tour with a show featuring acrobats, clowns, illusion and pyrotechnics. The tour coincides with the 250th anniversary year for circus in the UK. Azz Mohammed reports for Sheffield Live!
Sheffield youngsters have been given the opportunity to hone their juggling, unicycle and trapeze skills at Greentop Circus during the Easter holiday. The Sheffield-based community circus provides young people with access to specialist training and facilities to give them an insight into circus art and life under the big top. Green Top Circus was set up nearly 20 years ago and since then has been holding workshops for local people to learn how to do everything from juggling to aerial acrobatics.
