Women across Sheffield and South Yorkshire are being invited to enjoy a festive afternoon of great food, inspiring conversation and valuable networking at the Christmas Ladies Lunch, hosted by Dragonfly Cancer Trust at Kenwood Hall Hotel on Wednesday 25 November 2026.
Priced at £35 per person, the event promises far more than an afternoon tea. It is an opportunity to step away from the everyday, meet new people, build connections, share ideas and enjoy an afternoon in wonderful company, all while supporting a charity making a difference to children and young people living with a life-limiting cancer diagnosis and their families.
Following the success of Dragonfly Cancer Trust’s first Ladies Lunch, the team is bringing the event back with a festive twist, welcoming women from across the local community, business world and beyond. Whether attending with friends, family members or work colleagues, or coming along independently to meet new faces, guests can look forward to a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone has the chance to connect.
The afternoon will begin with a festive arrival drink, with guests able to choose from mulled wine, Prosecco or juice, followed by opportunities to network before enjoying a delicious Christmas-themed afternoon tea, served buffet style. The menu includes traditional finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, miniature festive desserts, tea and freshly brewed coffee.
But one of the highlights of the afternoon will be a special guest appearance from Michelle Oxley, business leader, mentor, inspirational speaker and UK leader of CHOGAN fragrances.
Michelle will deliver her powerful and thought-provoking talk, *Remember Who You Are*, sharing insights drawn from her own experiences of overcoming domestic abuse, serious health challenges and unexpected turns in life. Combining humour, honesty, interaction and emotion, her talk will encourage guests to look beyond the labels and roles they carry, reconnect with themselves and rediscover the person underneath it all.
Guests will also have the opportunity to discover CHOGAN fragrances, with samples available as a special take-home favour, adding another little treat to an already memorable afternoon.
With dedicated time for networking both before and after the speaker, the Christmas Ladies Lunch offers the perfect setting to make new contacts, strengthen existing relationships and enjoy meaningful conversations in a relaxed, festive environment. It is ideal for businesswomen looking to expand their networks, friends wanting to enjoy something different together, colleagues planning a festive get-together or anyone who simply fancies an afternoon of good food and inspiring company.
Every ticket also helps support the work of Dragonfly Cancer Trust, helping the charity create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for children and young people with a life-limiting cancer diagnosis and their families.
Tickets cost £35 per person and include a festive arrival drink, Christmas afternoon tea, tea and coffee, the guest speaker and networking opportunities.
With limited spaces available, women are encouraged to book early and invite a friend, family member or colleague to join them for this special festive occasion.
