Thousands joined Sheffield Pride at Endcliffe Park in support of Sheffield’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. The event returned to its original venue for the second time, after being held in recent years on Devonshire Green and at Sheffield University Students’ Union. The inaugural Sheffield LGBT+ awards will take place over Easter weekend at the Library Theatre. The awards ceremony was started Sheffield PRIDE to reward and recognise those who have worked to promote LGBT+ causes.
