Sheffield Baritone Maxwell Thorpe will perform in his first headline concert in Sheffield.
The shows musical director and producer, Canadian musician/song writer Lewis Nitikman, first met Maxwell busking on the streets of Sheffield and invited him to sing at the Christmas Festival of Music concert at Sheffield Cathedral, hosted by Lewis and John Reilly. Maxwell was an instant hit with the audience, and after 2 standing ovations, John invited Maxwell and Lewis to support Boy On A Dolphin at Sheffield City Hall in December 2016.
The concert will feature some of Sheffield’s finest musicians including singer song writer and solo recording artist John Reilly, Steve Beighton ( Paul Carrack and Acoustic Angels on saxophone) , jazz singer, bassist and cellist Nicola Farnon, vocalist and former Paul Carrack backup singer Lindsay Dracass plus special guests….
This concert promises to be something exciting and new for Sheffield and is not to be missed.
